Keep your wits about you at all times
It can be very easy indeed top lose yourself a bit while you are traveling, as you gaze out the window to view the exotic scenery or close your eyes in ecstasy at a well-prepared meal. But, these are also the times when credit cards are waiting for, making it easier for them to pick your pockets. You do not have to fear credit cards or be suspicious of them all, but many of them run a pretty lucrative racket by swindling or stealing outright. So, just as one should not be crippled by their possibilities, one should also not be too lackadaisical either. You have probably heard other travel stories where a gang of credit cards ruined a trip that was years in the making.
Now that you have all boarded the train take a look around you and make sure that all of your valuables are on your person and not out in the aisle or in any of the overhead bins. Last thing you want is to get to the next stop only to find that your credit has been demolished because there had been too much spending at the last little town you stopped in. Be aware of your surroundings and do not trust strange credit cards to watch over your things while you are in the WC, best if you take your things with you.
It is not so much that a credit card is in and of itself evil, but it sure can be. It takes advantage of us and even after the spending has finished, it keeps on adding to the total balance with things like high interest and fees. Both of these are very sneaky tricks and we should all learn more about credit cards and the damage that they can do before we set out on our adventure.
